This is a fabulous project!  Look at the results!  I was so overwhelmed that I traced some of the hidden fish so we could easily find them.  This project culminated  a study of animals and the way they camouflage themselves to hide from enemies.  You need several wallpaper books.  Ask your parents and other teachers.  Someone can get them for you.  Students choose the wallpaper that they want to use for the background.  Make sure they understand that they have to HIDE their fish.  Give each student a paper fish.  Let them choose the section of their paper that the fish will hide in.  Stick a little piece of double sided tape on the back of the fish to keep it in place.  The students need to use colored pencil for this project.  Glue fish when the student has completed.  Put this on your website, make class books, post in the hallway...remember to put in Journal/Memory Books at the end of the year.
