OUR MONSTER STORIES

Students always love to create monsters and tell their story.  Give each child a paper to draw their monster and color.  Once they are done, turn the paper over and write a story about their monster.  Make sure writing is proofed.  You can put on the class website and make a class book for the students to enjoy all year.  At the end of the year, remember to transfer to the Journal/Memory Books.

HATS OFF TO MOTHER

               This project is written for 4th-5th graders.  I did it with 3rd graders successfully.  I believe 1st and 2nd could do it if the teacher read each direction and guided the students through each step.  Encourage neat coloring and cutting!
