CAMP COWABUNGA
When I taught 2nd grade, our school had end-of-the-year picnics. Each grade level was responsible for their own. This idea was taken from Copycat 1995. It is out of print. http://stores.ebay.com/Copycat-Store

SUMMER MATH SKILLS SHARPENER
These are a few Math sites that are good to use over the summer.
http://www.ixl.com/math/ - can do 20 problems daily for free. The nice thing about being a member is your child can work on any grade level that is appropriate.
http://www.summerskills.com/about/contact.htm - I send the sheet below home in the Summer Packet.

FAVORITE BOOK OF THE YEAR
A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS
Find a paper similar to these. They show you what the children enjoyed during the school year. Remember to put them in the Journal/Memory Book.
