SCROLL BOOK REPORT

Usually there is some concept required for students to read and understand a biography.  I assigned the report prior to Christmas so parents would know what was needed to help their child complete the project.  I emphasized to the students that an adult needed to make the scroll since it could be burned along the edges.  Students were also given the option of dressing as the character their report was about.  I encouraged students to print photos/pictures that pertained to their report and attach to the back side of their scroll.  That way as they were reading their report, the class could see pictures that related to the reading.
